Benimaquia - Coll de Pous

This starts next to the road that goes from Denia to Javea (CV-735) passing through Jesus Pobre.

Until you reach the top of Benimaquia, this route is steep. At the top, you can see some remains of an ancient Iberian settlement from the 7th century BC. We'll circle around it to the left. If you're interested, I'll share the link to learn more about it (Alto de Benimaquia). When we reach the "guard house," we take the path also on the left, which passes through a pine forest. There are painted crosses to keep us on track until we finally reach Coll de Pous.

The distance of this adventure is approximately 2,700 meters. It usually takes an hour and a half to two hours. It's of medium difficulty due to the steep incline at the beginning.
