Water Cave
It's located about 350 meters above sea level and is accessed via the trail that begins near the Pare Pere Hermitage. From there, it takes about 40 minutes to get there. It's a very easy path.
At the entrance, protected by a gate, there is a Roman inscription dating back to 238 AD.
The cave itself has two rooms and a small freshwater pond at the back. If you go there after a recent rain, drops of water drip from the ceiling.
Historically, and as we know from the remains found, it was already in use in the Iberian period. Later, the Romans used it as a place of worship, and later, the Arabs of the Taifa of Denia. It is thought that between the 16th and 17th centuries, it had a pipeline to supply the locals living on the hillside.
