Gamell Cave
To get there, we'll take the same route as the previous one. Yes, it's the same, except a little further. The trail is the PR-CV32. It's a little over 5,000 meters long. It's a nearly two-hour walk, with a gradient of just over 100 meters, quite easy. It's about 220 meters above sea level.
Historically, there isn't much to tell except that shepherds once used it to fence in their flocks of sheep and goats. This is a fact taken from the book "Els noms de lloc i de persona de Denia." Its author was Joan Ivars Cervera, and it is housed in the Denia Municipal Archive.
Many people call it Camel Cave, but this is a mistake due to the similarity between Camel and Gamell, which have nothing to do with each other.
